Anti-spyware/Malware removal ?
I will be using firefox and IE pop-ups will NOT go away. it has bogged down my computer ridiculously slow. I have Spyware Doctor, but it has not done an efficient job.
Any recommendations on fixing this? Also, does anyone know, say, if I were to take it to Best Buy that they could do an efficient job fixing it?

Try this open IE go to tools, then go to manage add-ons, then enable or disable add-ons. Make sure where it says show that it say Add-ons currently loaded in Internet Explorer. Look for things you don’t recognize and disable them. If you don’t know what it is disable it. Spyware doctor is pretty good. So you may have to do a safe mode scan. But I’m thinking that you got a nasty add-on so you may be able to find it and disable it. If all else fails try these programs
You need these two programs. They need to be run in safe mode. Do not run them at the same time. After running one restart your computer then do another safe mode scan. Run Malwarebytes first. Then run SuperAntiSpyware. Both these programs are free. Make sure you after you install that you do an update before scanning.
