Does anyone know how to get rid of a parasite AKA virus called DOWNLOADER?
This is a very nasty parasite ( SPYAWRE ) AKA VIRUS that finds loopholes in your computers’ HKEY ( S ) and ROOTS. Once it is in your computer, it slows your computer down and wants you to download one of its’ several programs so it can take over your computer. Microsoft Milacious Software Removal Tool , TREND, AVG ( Anti-VirusGaurd ), Spybot – Seek & Destroy, Ad-Aware SE PERSONAL Spy-ware removal, NORTON Spyware Scan, WINDOWS DEFENDER and Charter Communications Security Center WILL NOT get rid of this big problem.
Symantec has manual removal instructions for Downloader Trojan on their website given on the link below
delete it manually by ending the process connected to it then going to the folder where it is and delete it.
My brother uses hijackthis and got rid of that nastly thing on my sister’s computer twice. I’m not sure if that’s all he used though…
