Help I keep getting the Trojan.Brisv.A virus?
Yes this is my 2nd time getting it I got it on the 8th last.I was using limewire & I downloaded a music file what I thought what a music file lol.And my cursor did the round thing like it’s loading n my limewire froze.I downloaded the symantec trojan.brisv.a virus removal tool.And I got rid of it that night but today just now I was downloading music again & it happened.Please help.this is really pissing me off.
for one thing dont use limewire because of the jerks who put malware in music and other files.go get your removal tool,remove malware.scan your computer with malwarebytes and super antispyware.remove anything found and remember no more limewire.i dont use limewire for that reason.
Use a well-known antivirus software. Make sure it has an onaccess scanner, such as avast!, and a download scanner. That helps a lot.
You may want to look into Norton or McAfee or maybe even AVG.
use limewire or any other P2P sharing at your own risk,
and especially if you don’t have the "On Access Scanning" type of AV
"On Access Scanning" is only available with Paid AV
the free ones don’t have it or it’s disabled until payment is received

You didn’t get rid of it, you just disabled it by whatever you did to try to remove it. For trojans, it has lots of friends that it uses to slow and sometimes crash your system. I recommend having someone scan your system for threats; or download Spybot and run those scans. Let me know if you need extra help.
