Help! Where can I get a free virus and spyware protection program?
I don’t know very much about my new computer and I don’t want to get a virus or anything. Is there a really good free software that will keep me protected from viruses and spyware?

I’ve been running AVG for about a year. I’ve had Symantec and Mcafee and AVG is not quite as bloated. you can get the free version by going to download.com and search for free AVG. Don’t click the banner at the top, go to the link for the download lower in the page.

I had the same problem and honestly dude, I had to buy a program but it worked and I have the product forever now so i can use it whenever.
remember those "free" virus removal programs are only there to bait you into buying the real product anyways
