Is there a free adware/malware removal tool?
I have a fully paid for AVG but it does not seem to remove mal/adware. My laptop is getting so slow I need help but can’t really afford to take it to the computer shop. I have tried downloading what appears to be free stuff but then it removes a tiny bit and asks for money to remove the rest. Can someone help please? I will say thanks in advance as often I can’t get onto the internet.
I am running Windows XP.
Give me a break please? I am 60yrs old. I just ask for a web site to go to. All ‘yr comp talk’ actually means diddly squat, I don’t understand, so sorry, I know you all mean well. Just help a pensioner with the technology, which is way beyond me really. I do try to keep up, honestly!!!!!!!!!

It is possible that the infection you are trying to remove will not allow you to download files on the infected computer. If this is the case, then you will need to download the files suggested to another computer and then transfer them to the infected computer via a CD/DVD, external drive, or USB flash drive. A CD+R is best because it is read only and will prevent infecting the clean computer you have downloaded from if you have to use it to get more downloads.
