I need a secure site that I can download some stuff to remove viruses. I don’t want to have to take everything off my laptop to remove the virus. I recently got the "backdoor trojan" virus from something that downloaded. As soon as I found out it was on here, I got a "security toolbar 7.1" and it won’t go away. I have no idea why it’s there and I’m afraid to download anything in fear that it may be another virus in hiding. So any suggestions or sites that might help remove the virus would be good. I have the Norton Internet Virus protection, but it won’t remove the trojan virus. oh and I keep getting these pop ups even when I’m not online saying I have more spyware viruses and if you click on them a window pops up with a site to download a remover. I know from the last time I had a virus that I shouldn’t do that. So I have no idea what to do now.

Antivirus Xp 2008 installed on my computer, but I got it off. Now, my internet and google have been hijacked by the same spyware (it might be CoolWebSearch). When I try to visit any anti-spyware site or download spyware removal, it won’t load the page. And even my Norton application won’t load. Any advice?
Alright so i have this virus or malware on my other computer. I have malware bytes program and it does find some of the malware doctor files but when i reboot they all come back. The problem is that when i access the internet on that computer the computer crashes. So i cant update any of my virus definitions. The malware bytes is up to date via usb but any other virus scans i try to put on it by usb need to access the Internet for updates.
I think i need a program that when you download it already has all of the virus definitions. I have alread tried hitman pro spyware doctor they both need internet to install.
Please a recomendation of a program or another way to uninstall this malware will help

okay guys heres where im at. I tried the safe mode and then malware bytes, when i restarted the computer it kept crashing. So i went back into safe mode and put it back to working settings. I dled a free trial of avg and did a manual update by usb. I even tried reformating It wouldnt let me boot from the cd. anyway Its scanning now i really hope this works. This afternoon has been frustrating!
Today I reformatted my computer, and since then I lost all my programs but think I’m already infected with some kind of spyware or malware.
So my question is where can I get a very good, thorough and FREE spyware and malware removal and protection program. Whether it be a cracker version, version with a serial, or a truely free program I would appreciate it.
