Question about Trojan Virus, and AVG remover?

I’m trying to get rid of the Trojan Virus on my computer, so I’m looking at AVG Free virus removers, but how on earth am I supposed to know which one to download? Can anyone tell me?
Here’s their list of options,

I don’t really find that necessary… my internet company, Hughes Net, told me that AVG is really safe and affective, so that’s who I’m trusting.
Damn. Hopefully I can find a homemade remedy that works. I really don’t want to have to take it anywhere.
I actually need a whole new laptop. This things about shot. Not just from viruses, but I kinda need a shock absorbent laptop to keep up with my abuse! Lol.

I don’t think any of those virus removers include Trojan, so I’m gonna do a AVG scan and see if it comes up..

  1. God, I had the trojan virus about a month ago (I swear it’s not from porn)…. it sucked. I couldn’t get rid of it myself so I had to take it into the computer store, and it costed me like 200 dollars to get rid of it and for fees to keep all the files I wanted to keep (like itunes and pictures and stuff).

It was weird… I got it when I opened a link in my email that was to dover saddlery… not like dover is dangerous or anything.

Anyways, it was the best thing I’ve ever done for my computer because they got rid of it, and my computer was a shit ton faster. They also put on a free anti-virus protection. I would suggest you do this, although it’s expensive, before it really damages some files or something.

The sucky thing is that I paid all that extra money for them to save all my files, and they only saved about half of my pictures. I was kind of pissed off…. I mean, I should have gotten a partial refund or something, since I PAID EXTRA for them to save all that. Ah well… it’s all gone now.

  2. BUY some anti virus protection…seriously, you’ll be doing yourself a favor

  3. try a free online virus scan…Safety.Live.com (that one is Microsoft)/ Symantec.com/ Comodo.com/ Housecall.TrendMicro.com they scan and remove the intruder from the machine…dump the avg junk if you need antivirus there are better free ones available Microsoft Security Essentials@Msn.com /Avira.com /Comodo.com /Pandasecurity.com

  4. Thanks for info i see hp envy 14 the best new laptop by hp
