Vista Antivirus 2010 malware removal?

Hey, so my computer seemed to have picked up this annoying little bug.

I tried downloading and installing malwarebytes, it let me download it but won’t let me run setup in order to install it (anytime I run it, the virus starts running as av.exe in processes and the setup never comes). It won’t let me run Spybot S&D either. It let’s me run HijackThis, but it won’t let me run HJT as administrator and therefore I cannot get a log that I can post. It will not let me run Mozilla Firefox, or Internet Explorer from clicking the icons. In order to get on the internet, I need to go to Run -> www.google.ca.

So, any suggestions on how I can get rid of this? I have tried all of the "manual self-help remove it by doing this" sites, but I cannot find any of the files in the registry or on my computer.
Whodaman – How do I do that?

Other dude – I have norton.
joel j – none of those values are in the registry, and I can’t find any of those files
IS there anyone who doesn’t just copy and paste what they google? I already stated that I tried those sites.
It will not let me do a system restore either

For fucks sake do I have to reformat the whole damn drive
Managed to run System Restore, but it said "An unspecified error occured and system was not able to restore" and then like 10000 copies of av.exe started running.

For help– Which is the best & free malware removal Software? Some s/wrs said to be free are not actually free.They detect the infections such as malware/trojans etc but do not remove them For removal purpose we require to purchase another s/w from them.Some s/w are detecting defferent diferrent items singularly.Then r we supposed to install s/w separately each as anti-spyware,anti-trojan ,anti-adware,anti-malware & so on? Is there any software/tool which alone can solve the problem of detecting & removing all types of infections incl.malware?
Secondly,One s/w detected 25 items of infections on my computer and the other one installed for removal of these, declared that "No infection it found on my p.c." is it not funny?

My friend’s computer was acting up so I told him to do a scan on housecall65.trendmicro.com, a free online virus scan that one of my friends told me to try once. I have used this before and it deletes whatever it finds no problem. Well my friend told me that the infections it found were "ADW_AdultBrows.B" & then the cookies. I told him to click clean and remove for both of them. When I talked to him later he told me that it said " Some infections of this grayware/spyware could not be removed automatically! Complete removal of the grayware listed below failed…." There wasn’t any other information of how to remove this grayware/spyware, so I was hoping that someone could help me?! Is there any free online scans? or anything free to download and scan to get rid of it? Please help me help my friend. This has got me stumped. THANKS!
He has windows defender right now, should I remove that if I am downloading the Spyware Doctor Starter Edition for him? Also, he has AVG free edition as his virus protection, is this one okay or is there something else that is free out there that I should try for him instead?

Spyware/Adware Removal???

Ok I downloaded SuperAntiSpyware Free Edition and I tried removing the adwares. I also have Spyware Doctor and it says I hav 123threats. I even hav Norton Security Scan and i says I hav 2 high-risk items and its Adware.ActiveSearch and its a low level and Adware.Lop and its a high level risk and I am currently doin another scan with SuperAntiSpyware to see wat it says… but I dont know doesnt anyone hav any help to offer or to tell me wats goin on?
I hav continued to try SuperAntiSpyware and its scannin and i still hav 2 high threats and I cant get rid of it so I’m downloadin Spybot Search & Destroy rite now and its takin awhile. I still hav Spyware Doctor and it says I hav 4threats and 13infections but its only on like 27% of scannin so its probly gonna find more. I’m thinkin maybe its defective because the other scanners or only pickin up 2 high risk threats so i dont know. But hopefully Spybot shud help. Thanx a lot for ur help and if u know anythin else please share. =]

Yes this is my 2nd time getting it I got it on the 8th last.I was using limewire & I downloaded a music file what I thought what a music file lol.And my cursor did the round thing like it’s loading n my limewire froze.I downloaded the symantec trojan.brisv.a virus removal tool.And I got rid of it that night but today just now I was downloading music again & it happened.Please help.this is really pissing me off.

I know i have malware but nothing gets rid of it. I have used spybot S&D, smitfraudfix, microsoft malicious tool remover, mcafee, uniblue spy remover, and norton. This malware does not come on until I open a browser mozilla and IE both open up and open up two tabs one goes to some site advertising like ebay or adultfriendfinder etc, the other is my actual home page. Any one know how to get rid of this. I tried to go into safe mode and run all a/v and spyware removers nothing! I researched and found nothing I also even tried removing my mozilla and reinstalling it and nothing I dont want to wipe my hard drive if i dont have to!

I had a spyware "pmkji.dll on my PC. I just ran VirtumondoBeGone.exe, and it seems it removed "pmkji.dll", I ran Spybot search & destroy, and norton antivirus, and my system seems to be clean. The only problem I have is that after I rebooted my PC, I get a message which read " Error loading c:\windows\system32\hqnelqqm.dll the specified module could not be found. Is there is a way to fix this, Please can you help me how, I am running windows xp, and every thing else seems to be running just fine, and I only get the message when it start windows. Thanks
