what anti virus and spyware protection do the big companies use?
i have been attacked on my computer several times so i am stepping up my security. what do the big companies like microsoft use to defend thir computers?

expensive corporate AV solutions and hardware solutions
corporate AV like McAfee enterprise version & enforcing stricter blocking rules
hardware & software firewall combinations with "All" unneeded /unused ports closed & blocked to both inbound & outbound traffic
also restricted & hardened Server & workstations with only the necessary functionality enabled.
the list goes on,
you could totally lock down your machine but it would be really almost useless for regular user web browsing / surfing
I’ve partially locked & hardened firefox on my machine and it almost always asks me if what I just did or what just happened is what I intended to do or have happen

I’m betting microsoft uses their own product One care. Norton is the #1 with more companies in the United States. They have a very good program Endpoint protection.
A variety, and in some cases (like everything else) it’s decided by the buying department on the grounds of cost rather than by the IT department on grounds of suitability.
MS may well use their own now but this bit of (old) news might be of interest

those companies use norton which i do not like as it uses a lot of the pc’s power
