What is the best anti virus software?

I just got a new computer and I wanted to get the best anti virus software I could get so that it wouldn’t crash like my other one did.

    Theres so many!!

    The one I use is Avast. It scans files before you download them and itd free
    http://avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

    Although if you willing to spend money id recommend Kespersky
