where can I find free spyware removal that won't ask me to pay for it before it removes infected files?

I have tried spydoctor, spybot, and a few others that download for free and then scan my computer, but once they find the infected files they tell me that I have to purchase the program in order to remove the infected files that were found.

    Spybot; Search and Destroy is free. they ask you to donate to cover costs, but, that is voluntary.. I use it and it does fine for me.. and I remove the problems by using it.

    It is absolutely free and will scan and remove any virus, worm or spam from your computer. I have used this and it picks up all sorts of unwanted infected files. It has several options for removal of infected files after completion, which you can pick. Good Luck. Or just go to Micro Trend, and use House call scan now.
